Sunday Check in week 4

Hey guys. I haven't gotten the results back from my doctor yet so I don't know anything about my thyroid. I did however start weight watchers last sunday and this past week I lost 4lbs with only 3 hour work outs. It felt good to get on the scale at my meeting this week. Hopefully next week I will get my 5lb sticker to put in my book. I am on vacation until thursday so I am going to hit the gym more than usual and try and get a bunch or healthy meals cooked and frozen. That is all for now!!

Sunday check in

Hey guys, this week has been crazy. I went to the doctor and I am getting blood work done on tuesday. I started weight watchers today. I am hoping it works even though I feel they are giving me more points then I should be having. I will listen to them and do what they say. I have slacked on working out this week. I will get back into my normal routine tomorrow.

Wednesday Check in July 15th

This week has been kicking my bum. I have an appointment with my dr tomorrow to get my thyroid checked out. I have 28 of the 32 most common symptoms so I am going to at least let them have a look at me. I have been to the gym everyday but today, I just didn't feel up to it today. I am super sore from yesterdays work out. However I did go swimming with Lilian. I pushed her in her raft as I did laps. She loved it. I only could do that for about 15 minutes before she wanted out so then we just played around. I will keep everyone updated on my drs appt. until then I hope you all are well

End of week 3 Sunday update

I can't find the camera so I will edit this later today to include my weekly pictures. I didn't lose any weight this week, but it is ok because 10lbs in 4 weeks a lot and 2 lbs more than I should have lost. My measurements have changed this week though, My waist has gone down 2 inches, my hips haven't changed but my bust went up 2 inches since I last measured, which was in april. So things are changing and that is a good thing. I am trying really hard not to get discouraged. I began my strength training this week. Before my 6 weekly workouts were between 30 minutes and 45 minutes consisting all of cardio, this past week I upped it to 45min to 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on the day. It consists of 45 minutes of heart pumping cardio (When I began riding the bike I was averaging 12 miles and hour I am now up to 14.4 miles an hour) and 15-30 minutes of strength training, because muscle burns fat all the time where as exercise only burns fat during and after for a short time. I have gone 2 weeks without any soda, and I am averaging about 80 oz of water a day, about half of that is consumed with ocean spray sugar free cranberry juice, (5 calories a serving)

Wednesday Check in

Wow it has been a busy couple of days. Monday I went to the gym for 45 minutes. Tuesday I went to the gym TWICE!!!!! In the morning for 45 minutes and at night for 30 minutes. I couldn't sleep at all last night either, I have decided that I cannot work out past 9:00 at night otherwise I wont be able to sleep. Today I went to the gym and rode for 35 minutes, it was all I could fit in today during the little time Kyle and I were home together. I have officially lost 10 lbs, 3 inches off of my hips and 1 inch off of my waist!!!

July 5 End of week 2 update

Even though I hurt my foot thursday night, I spent the past two days resting and icing. I my foot felt okay today so I went to the gym and road the bike. NO PAIN!!! I did pikes peak again for 30 minutes instead of 20. 6.9 miles. AWESOME BIKE RIDE!! I didn't eat so healthy on the 4th but I didn't completely indulge. I did have eegees, 5" turkey grinder and some watermelon eegee. I also had a soda. I ended the day with 1420 calories. Only 200 above my daily limit so not too bad. Today I am only at 385 calories. I had a good breakfast and I am still not hungry, I will have a snack here shortly and then dinner at 5.

I lost 3 pounds this week and I have no clue how I did it. I skipped the gym 4 days!! I did however do Jillian Michaels she is gives you a good work out. She doesn't let you take breaks at all and keeps you moving the entire 20 minutes.

July 3rd

So today I didn't do any exercise. I am going to call it my rest day for the week. I can walk on my foot today, but I didn't think I could do any cardio. I will tackle the bike tomorrow with a low resistance.
Today I only at 1065 calories. I can't wait for my weigh in on Sunday. I have been tempted to peek at the scale but I am resisting.

July 2

So I finished last night with another round at the gym. I spent a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes at the gym yesterday. Lilian and i also had a dance party in the living room for about 20 minutes. I am going to count that as exercise since I was out of breath half way through. I am feeling sick today, really lethargic and tired. I still went to the gym. I tackled Pikes Peak on the bike and road 4.9 miles "uphill" i felt so amazing after that. I also did 1 mile on the treadmill at 5mph (a jog). I do have a feeling I will not be able to do cardio for the next few days. I just dropped my computer on my foot(don't worry the computer is fine) The corner of the computer hit my foot about 2 minutes ago and I could barely walk to get the camera. AGHHHH it hurts so bad.

I can still do core exercises though.. I can still do sit ups and work on my back and arms. I can't believe I just did that..

It's been a few days (July 1 early afternoon)

My internet service has been a little shotty at night and every time I try to post a blog I go offline. So I just gave up. I have been eating good and working out. Not as much as I should but I have been doing something. I have already gone to the gym today and worked out for 30 minutes. I think I want to go back to the gym while kyle is home and get a few miles in on the treadmill. My goal is to burn an extra 500 calories a day. I am feeling a lot better then I was 2 weeks ago. I am eating better too, LOTS of fresh fruit and veggies. I found a list of negative calorie foods (foods that have less calories in them then it takes your body to process them ) There are tons of great foods on the list like: Carrots, Celery, Lettuce, Mandarin Oranges, watermelons, honey dew, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, bell peppers, squash. the list goes on. So my goal is to load up on fruits and veggies in the morning and afternoon, and eat a meal with meat for dinner. Apparently it is supposed to naturally boost my metabolism.

So far for today:
Gym: 30 minutes
I road the stationary bike on level 8 (go me, the highest I have done was level 4) on the peaks and valleys setting for 25 minutes and I did 5.9 miles.
I tried to do the elliptical but the left side has something wrong with it and it was annoying me so I stopped and did some stretching.

I will write again tonight with my totals for the day.
